Bill spent the next three days cleaning his house. His home was already immaculate, but he had to scrub out every corner of the kitchen, bathroom, and dining rooms. He re-lined his kitchen cabinets. Stripped and waxed every non-carpeted floor in the house. He vacuumed and steamed cleaned his carpets. He polished silverware, washed walls and ceilings. By the end of the third day, the soreness in his head and neck had subsided. However, that soreness was replaced with soreness in his hands and knees from all the cleaning he had done. He was ready to go back to work. So he called Jenny and told her that he would be in on Friday. She told him that he ought to wait until Monday. That would give him another three days to rest. He told her that he was ready to come back as soon as possible. He didn't want another three days, because he had run out of things to clean.

Jenny updated Bill on all of her interactions with customers during his absence. She told him how she was able to get Old Man Dawson to increase the business he was doing with Bill by 25%. Mr. Mack Dawson was a stickler for tight budgets. He was from the old school. He rarely exceeded the strict budgets he set for his company. But Jenny's charm, good looks, and the ability to bake "killer" chocolate chip cookies helped sway the old parsimonious geezer. "Old Man Dawson probably had two dozen cookies sitting in a basket on top of his oak desk right now", Bill thought.

Just as Bill hung up the phone, there was a knock at the door. When he opened the door, there stood Idola. She was wearing a large camouflage army jacket and some Nike sneakers. "Did you send all your good stuff to cleaners or are you just trying to upset the fashion police?", Bill asked sarcastically. "Very funny. Don't I get a hello ,Idola, how are you?", she asked. "Hello Idola how are…..whoaah!" Before he could finish what he was saying she opened up the coat and revealed he naked body. She jumped up into his arms. Bill held her up with one arm as he shut the front door with the other. The two of them wasted no time.

After their brief interlude, Bill and Idola talked a little about what had happened to Bill. The whole thing shocked Idola. She glad to see that he was okay and had made this out of the way trip to help him feel better. He definitely felt better he assured her. In fact he tried to talk her into making him feel even better. "Gotta go", she said. "What ", Bill said. "I gotta go. I have a very important meeting to get to and I have less than 10 minutes to get there", she exclaimed. "What kind of business meeting has a dress code like that", he said. She responded,"Noneya". " "Noneya?", he asked. Noneya business Bill", she responded with a sly grin on her face. Before Bill could say anything, she put on her army coat and scurried out of the door. Bill yelled to her as she pranced down the walkway, " I wasn't trying to… well you know…I mean." " I know, Silly, I have my clothes in the car", she called out," My GI Jane routine was just for you. Chow." Before she reached her car she ripped of her coat, opened her car door, and calmly started to dress herself in broad daylight. Idola was a combination of White, Asian, and African American ancestry. She was put together real well. My male neighbors were probably getting an unexpected treat", he thought. As conservative as Bill was, he couldn't help but like the show. He just hoped that she didn't get herself arrested.

After she finished dressing, she turned back toward Bill, and blew him a kiss. Then she got in her car and drove away. Bill felt something different as she drove away. Something that he tried not to feel, normally. He felt attached to Idola. She could walk into the room and light up his day. The chemistry between them was magical. He liked this dangerous feeling, but he quickly subdued it. He hadn't the time for this feeling. It could ruin what they had together; it could slow his career down, and drain him emotionally. Still he wondered.
